*VLOG* Vogue 73 Questions

OH. MY. VLOG.

I did it. I put my big girl pants on, figured out how to work the laptop camera and filmed my first ever vlog! It was terrifying but not a total catastrophe so I guess we’ll go with it. Thanks to Jane at Maflingo for nominating me to answer the Vogue 73 questions (you can read her answers here) and also to Helen at Just Saying Mum who’s post Come On Girls, Embrace Your Inner Vlogger! which may have just given me the little nudge I needed to go for it!

    1. Ahh you’re very kind, I think it might take me a while to recover from this one! 🙂 Look forward to your post whether you decide to vlog or blog.
Yes – see you at Blogfest, 10/10 excitement! 🙂 x

  2. Ah I love it Charlie!! Your accent is awesome. Well done for getting in front of the camera 🎉 You seemed totally natural so should definitely do it again. Big Aerosmith fan too, there is something about singing along to their songs…and I adore Autumn as well ❤️ Also my mum hates coriander and whenever we go to a curry house she makes a huge deal out of being like NO FRESH CORIANDER 😂 Thanks for the nomination #ablogginggoodtime

    1. Thanks El! Funnily enough I hate hearing my accent on video but I suppose that’s normal?? Yes! – still love sticking a bit of Aerosmith on and singing along too- It’s Amaaaaaa-ziiiiing……. 🙂 Look forward to reading (watching?) yours soon x

  3. LOVE THIS!!! You have made me consider vlogging my answers too as yours is so good! LOVE your accent… Im not a fan of my voice on video either? So i suppose that is normal. Wonderwall is one of my faves too… Or Champagne Supernova <3 Ill give it a go tomorrow night when Im at home solo and see how I get on! Thank you so much for thinking of me… Ill holla once my post is live <3

    1. Oh really? Wow, thank you! Yay definitely try it, you don’t HAVE to post it right?? (Go on, if I can do it anyone can!) 🙂
Ah yes Champagne Supernova is a good’un too. Look forward to seeing your post xx

  4. Yay! I see ALL of your face! I never realised you were irish! Where are you from? My best mate is from Northern Ireland, Lisburn. I went to her wedding and then the reception at the Slieve Donard (sp?) hotel. Loved it! Best Breakfast EVER!! (Oh, and the wedding was great too! Except it was also the occasion of my 2nd most embarassing moment…The first will be coming soon to Absolutely Prabulous).

Fab answers! Moist! Tunnocks! I’ve notified Tunnocks of your Tunnock love, so who knows! Thanks for stepping up to the plate!

    1. Ha yes – surprise! I’m originally from Dublin but we moved up North when I was young. My parents still live just outside Belfast. Oh yes I know that hotel, lovely, ha can’t beat an Ulster Fry the morning after the night before 🙂
Ooh well now I’m looking forward to reading the next Oops File very much! Ha thanks for that if I receive a Tunnock’s delivery we’ll go halves 🙂 Thanks for tagging me (I think!) 🙂 x

  5. Whoop! Charlie, I love it! It’s so odd when you get to see someone in motion – when you kind of feel you know them, but you only have really only ever seen a few still selfies. (Says she who hasn’t even offered up one of those!). You were totally made for the camera, I could listen to your voice all day – ever thought about TV?!…

Thanks for linking up your first vlog to #coolmumclub…no stopping you now! x

    1. OMG TV???! Are you kidding me? It’s so funny to hear people say they like my accent, I’m always so paranoid about it but maybe it’s not that bad after all 🙂
Thanks for hosting, so glad (relieved!) you liked it! x

  6. Great vlog. I love your accent. I love these posts where a can put a face and a voice to the blogger. You should definitely do more blogs.
    #fortheloveofBLOG

  7. Charlieeeee! I feel like I’ve met you at last!! Brilliant to put a lovely voice (and face of course) to your fabulous words. Your coriander phobia made me chuckle – I have another friend who can’t abide the stuff and always orders food in restaurants “plain” as she stresses that all restaurant sauces tend to have it secretly hidden within, just as you mention with supermarkets. She once ordered a PLAIN chicken breast in an Indian restaurant and it came perfectly plain without any sauce whatsoever. But sprinkled with coriander! She nearly had a nose bleed! Love this vlog and you should definitely do more! Can’t wait to meet you at Blogfest! Dx #coolmumclub

    1. Daaaaaaaaaaaaaawn 🙂 Ha ha your poor friend – the struggle is real 🙂 Ah tnks so much, surprised anyone could hear me over the constant whirring of my laptop!! Really looking forward to meeting up too x

  8. Ooh so many answers I want to comment on – how good is The Fall?! And great choice of song, can’t beat a bit of Oasis. Or toast. And my favourite season is autumn too…you’re great on film! I’ve been planning to start a vlog for ages but haven’t got around to it. But definitely need to stop putting it off! x #TheList

    1. Soooo good but Himself isn’t impressed with how slow series 3 is going, I’m just appreciating ‘the view’ 🙂 🙂 Thanks for your lovely comment, I was so nervous but I did it – yay me! 🙂 I’d say just go for it re the vlogging, look forward to seeing your lovely face in front of the camera soon!!

  9. Well, it’s lovely to ‘meet’ you almost properly Charlie! And you are a total natural-clearly made for vlogging! I also didn’t realise you are Irish-talking about how you say your surname made me chuckle!! I probably shouldn’t vlog because I’m from Wiltshire, and will probably sound like a farmer! I love coriander-I made a stir fry last night, and added so much if it!! It seems to be a very marmite food though!! Germany is a fab country, you should definitely go! And I agree with you about ‘moist,’ I can’t hear that word without cringing…! Fab vlog, I’m looking forward to seeing more!
